Maybe im just being a PC elitist, but after playing alot of games on PC and console you start to realise that consoles cut alot of corners to look as good as they do which the PC dosn't have to do and as a result you end up with problems like blury textures and shadows in the background. If you look at these two screenshots, U4 clearly has some issues with low res textures around the edge of the screen in the distance which TR (when on AFx16) never seems to have. Also the textures in TR are more consistant IMO as U4 has nice textures but the anisotropic filtering is awful. Also uncharted is much more linear than TR so the console can manage to put out such good visuals and the fact that its an exclusive means the devs only have to optimise it for 1 platform. I think the snowy areas of Rise maybe don't look as good as i personally don't really like the snow, but in syria and geothermal valley rise definatly looks better, especially at 4k ultra. Full 4k, higher res textures (requieres 6gb vram), better res shadows, better lighting, better AO (VXAO), better hair effects, better reflections etc. This particular patch should automatically apply the next time you boot the game.Rise looks better mate.
